Fun for children and young people!
2nd Amersham on the Hill is a thriving scout group in the Misbourne Valley district.
We have Beaver colonies for children aged 6 to 8 years. Cub packs for children aged 8 to 10 years. Scouts troops for ages 10 to 14. After Scouts, young people can join the Explorer Unit.
Our scout hut is Jubilee Hall, Rectory Hill, Amersham. Click here for directions.

Group sleepover in a secret nuclear bunker.
In March 2014, 200 beavers, cubs, scouts, explorers and leaders spent an exciting night in Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker, the biggest and deepest cold war bunker open to the public in South East England.

Our 90th Birthday!

Titan Scout Troop has arrived!
September 2011 sees the arrival of our new scout troop. Named after the race of powerful Greek deities, Titan should be a great success.
The troop will meet at Jubilee Hall at 8.15pm on a Tuesday.
Endurance 80 2011
On 5th March 2011, five of our intrepid leaders took part in the Endurance 80 event, a 50 mile/24 hour hike. They finished in 19½ hours with plenty of blisters.
The aim was to raise money for the baby unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and our scout group.

Woodlander win the District Quiz 2010
The team from Woodlander Beavers won the District Quiz on 25th September and are through to the County Finals on 20th November.
Dambuster Beavers also did well, coming third in the competition.
